Schnorr Disc Springs
Disc Spring EngineeringMaximum load - minimum space - maximum flexibility
For disc springs the following 2 standards are applicable:
New editions of both of these appeared in January 1992. These standards are governing our production and are also basic for the present SCHNORR Handbook for Disc Springs. DIN 2092 Covers a standard calculation based on a paper by J.O. Almen and A. Laszlo which has been proven in practice for many years. It has been modified in the last few years to include disc springs with contact flats. DIN 2093 Contains 3 dimensional series for disc springs differentiated by outer diameter, thickness and ho/t ratio. It also contains comprehensive quality requirements for type, dimensions, material, permissible stress, permissible set, guide clearance and the testing of disc springs.
