Schnorr discs springs are manufactured to EN16983 and EN16984 from high quality spring steels. When required heat or corrosion resistant materials such as Inconels and Nimonics are used.
The standard range of approximately 250 sizes has outer diameters from 6 to 250mm.
A major advantage of using Schnorr is their knowledge and understanding of the stresses at work in a disc spring.
Their expertise in the manufacture and heat treatment of their springs ensures that they are particularly suitable for dynamic loadings - a common area of failure for less well-made springs.

Over time more than 12,000 special variants have been made - the largest 80mm thick - many of these are calibrated stacks to a specific requirement.
