Labyrinth Sealing Rings, Disc Springs & Safety Washers

For any mechanical product to survive in the coal and steel industry it has to have the ability to cope with extremely high temperatures whilst contending with a multitude of airborne contaminants. For these reasons the labyrinth sealing rings are used extensively on applications such as continuous casters to protect and extend the life of bearings on the rolls. This is a major factor in minimising down time.

Another facet of the this industry is the need to move large billets of material from one point to another and to minimise the effect of shock loads, disc springs are used on equipment such as ingot casting cars and cranes. Safety washers or secure bolt fasteners may be applied to maintain the integrity of mechanical joints particularly any critical to process and subject to vibration.
